Henry Miller where have you been all my life?

It is banned book week at our library so I decided to read a few selections. I picked up the Tropic of Cancer by Henry Miller and the introduction by Karl Shapiro left me in tears. While Karl described Henry I felt like I had known him. The pure joy that Karl Shapiro describes him as embodying shook me up. In this age of the walking dead it helped me to know that there is a better world awaiting us and is in fact already with us we just can't see it yet. I feel like Miller lived in the question and in the process always offended and lived with joy in the oneness that is. So exhilirating, so exciting, so many possibilities!
